Making mini buttons, a brooch and a mirror for a doll's outfit. And a 'Tailor of Gloucester' mouse.
Hello Wonder Weavers,
I continue making cotton spun figures and this week I made two characters: a hedgehog and a mouse inspired by the beautiful dressed maiden from the 'Tailor of Gloucester.' Every outfit would not be complete without buttons and other little items, such as brooches and even a hand-held mirror! In this video, I share how I made these with polymer clay and other common craft items.
Thank you to the Wonder Weaver who shared their button-making technique with me!
In the video I mention the Tailor of Gloucester Museum. You can learn more about it by visiting the website.
