We give our responses to the top five common objections we receive about our legal work.
1. “The ‘separation of Church and State’ is not written anywhere in the Constitution!”
2. “America is a Christian Nation. ‘In God We Trust’ is our national motto, and the Pledge of Allegiance says ‘One nation under God!’"
3. “If participation is voluntary, why do you care if children want to learn about the Bible in public school or if a coach prays with students?”
4. “Why doesn’t FFRF ever go after Islam? You just hate Christians!”
5. “The majority of this school/city/country is Christian—if you don’t like it, leave!”
