Individual Financial Literacy Journey pt.1( Joseph's story)

We are Joseph and Sherri Miclette and in this video, Joseph shares his early personal history with financial education and shares some insight about entrepreneurship and investing options he wants to share and teach our kids.

We really want to emphasize a few points as you watch:

1.There is a definite financial literacy "elephant in the room" among many families (especially in communities of color).
The lack of financial and economic education in addition to sharing these pieces of information about personal finances, building generational wealth, financial independence, and entrepreneurship across generations are reflective in the national wealth gap statistics .

2. It is beyond time we pivot from saving money as our only "financial literacy" advice we share within our families and communities. We must now have more advanced dialogue about creating multiple streams of income (passive and active), multiple vehicles of building generational wealth (investing into the stock market, multiple retirement accounts, entrepreneurship, etc.,
