THE DOWNSIDES OF A MAKEUP NO-BUY: what you should know before you stop buying makeup & declutter

Makeup no-buys are amazing; but I think it's also important to talk about some of the potential downsides of not buying new makeup & trying to use up your collection! There are some not so great things which may result from you going on a no-buy. Check out my other videos for the positives of makeup no-buys, which far out-number the negatives!

I didn't address the elephant in the room in this video, so I feel like I should do so in the description, in case I come across seeming like I don't care about what's happening in the world (though I don't know if anyone even reads this. Let me know if you did :) I think people are coping with this crisis in all kinds of ways, and there is absolutely merit in seeking out distraction and entertainment, so I hope I can provide that for you. Though my channel is about makeup and beauty, I aim to discuss these topics in ways that probe deeper and encourage sustainability and consciousness around consumerism & capitalism. I believe that even makeup can be an entry point into these topics and I'm hoping to go deeper into them in the future. Please share your thoughts with me on this.
