We can all agree that cancel culture is toxic, hypocritical, damaging, and frankly useless.
Anonymous profiles on the internet have been given the "power" to break or make an individual's career who is in the spotlight. It refuses to acknowledge their humanity and refuses to acknowledge their ability to grow from past toxic mentalities and become better individuals. We can all attest to the theory that within this cancel culture, is an element of envy. Envy that ordinary people are able to build sources of wealth for themselves from the dot com era and a growing dissatisfaction within the viewers themselves with their inability to do so.
