Now imagine he had full creative control, despite not knowing the character initially, and turned it into a buddy action flick with Kevin Hart—infuriating longtime fans. That’s the best way to sum up Judge Dredd (1995). A film with behind-the-scenes chaos, an NC-17 rating scare, and crew members allegedly betting on the director’s survival—oh, and Stallone bellowing I AM THE LAW! This is WTF happened to Judge Dredd.
