Here are the 4 best day trading indicators for ThinkOrSwim in 2020... or really any year haha. I have been using the VWAP, RSI, MACD, and Bollinger Bands since I was about 17 to improve my trading.

The VWAP is a volume-weighted moving average that is an extremely useful day trading or intraday trading indicator. Large firms send orders using algos that route the order based on the VWAP over the course of the day, meaning that there is a lot of support and resistance around the VWAP.

The RSI shows overbought or oversold levels, we can use this to either sell a position in an oversold level or buy a position in an overbought level. 70 is overbought and 30 is oversold.

The MACD shows a change in short term trend over the longterm trend, where the MACD becomes useful is when we see a cross in the short term trend over the long term trend.

Lastly, Bollinger Bands show the standard deviation of price and can show if the price is statistically extended.

Price should be in 1 standard deviations 65% of the time.
Price should be in 2 standard deviations 95% of the time.
Price should be in 3 standard deviations 99.7% of the time.
