Rib Hitching or Vertical Hitching Covering Knot

In this video I show a quick demonstration on how to Rib Hitch or Vertical Hitch. This is a series of half hitches tied around and initial timber hitch. The reason for using a timber hitch is that the knot itself creates only a very low profile. When doing the Rib Hitching or Vertical Hitching, always make sure that you keep the spacing and tension even as you go along. The end result will then be a very beautiful covering knot.
