Mt. Hood National Forest is the most popular and highly trafficked national forest we've been to! It was practically national park level! It's no surprise though since there is so much to do in the area and Portland, Oregon is a mere hour away. Jenni and I were excited to stay here because it meant we could take our dog Sweetie - who is usually barred from hiking at national parks - on a hike with us! Our choice? A beautiful hike to the incredible Tamanawas Falls.
