Turkey quinoa meatballs
Turkey quinoa meatballs has all the flavors of both worlds which is the perfect fast and filling meal option. But unfortunately did not get as much credit as it deserves because they are not only incredibly versatile but also offer a wide grid of exceptional health benefits that you will never going to get from any pasta or pizza. Just imagine a completely wonderful ball of meat. You can serve them as a great start-up like an appetizer or upgrade your dining table.

Some people try their best to cut back on the calories from whole meatball goodness. For them, i come up with a new and delicious version with quinoa that feels perfectly lightened on the stomach and pocket. It also provides an impressive bundle of proteins.

So try this tempting recipe out and add this to your favorite meat recipes.

Ingredients:
1. Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
2. Chopped celery: 1 ½ cups
3. Onion: ½ large (chopped)
4. Garlic: 2 tablespoons (minced)
5. Tomato ketchup: 1 1/3 cups
6. Cooked quinoa: 1 ½ cups
7. Balsamic vinegar: 1/3 cup
8. Eggs: 2 large
9. Soy sauce: 1/3 cup
10. Ground turkey: 1 ½ pound
11. Dried parsley: 1 tablespoon
12. Dried sage: 1 teaspoon

Spices:
i) Salt: ½ teaspoon
ii) Black pepper: ½ teaspoon

For garnish:
i) Parmesan cheese: as required (grated)
 Instructions to make:
1. Start by preheating the oven to 375F (190C).
2. Take a large skillet and heat the oil at medium flame.
3. Add garlic, celery, and onion in it and stir until soft but not golden browned and remove from the flame. It will take 6-7 minutes.
4. In a small bowl, add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, and balsamic vinegar and mix.
5. Take another large bowl and add cooked quinoa, parsley, eggs, sage, and spices including salt and black pepper. Combine celery onion mixture and 1/3 cup of tomato ketchup mixture in the same bowl and mix all the ingredients well.
6. By using your hand, shape the mixture into balls (2 or 3 tablespoons of ground turkey per meatball).
7. Spread 1/3 cup of tomato ketchup mixture on the bottom of the baking dish and arrange the meatballs on the baking dish.
8. Add the remaining 1/3 tomato mixture on the top of meatballs and bake them for 15-20 minutes until cooked and the tomato mixture is thickened.
9. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and enjoy.
