I'm Kate Morton. I am CEO of Bath Mind. We are a local, independent mental health charity providing a range of services for residents who experience mental health issues across Bath and NE Somerset. We believe every person should be in control of their health and wellbeing needs, and at the centre of their care, We focus on early intervention and supporting recovery within the community. As a mum to two teenage boys who don’t fit ‘the norm’, I am a passionate advocate for positive mental health and wellbeing in our daily lives, and strategies to support personal and community resilience. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
