Aguila calzada, Parque Nacional Sierra de Guadarrama (Madrid-España)
Este nido se conoce desde el año 2002, siempre ha estado ocupado de forma ininterrumpida.
Al aguila calzada se la considera como fratricida facultativa. Generalmente ponen dos huevos, en días diferentes, la incubación comienza desde la primera puesta, el 1º pollo nacido tendrá una ventaja de crecimiento respecto al segundo en un % muy elevado , es muy dificil observar un nido de calzadas donde los dos pollos salgan adelante, desgraciadamente son casos excepcionales.
Este año 2020 , todo lo ocurrido en el nido ha sido extraordinario, los dos pollitos nacidos Lasai y Lucky han sobrevivido.
Se han juntado varios factores clave para que haya sucedido algo así. La llegada adelantada de Princess y Lizard al nido, la puesta más temprana por ello, hubo presas abundantes, los arrendajos verdaderos incordiantes de la estabilidad de los nidos estuvieron tranquilos, no molestaron.
Otra de las causas fue el confinamiento que tuvimos en España debido al coronavirus, los parques estuvieron libres de personas, por un tiempo dejamos a la Naturaleza que actuara libremente

Generally they lay two eggs, on different days, the incubation begins from the first laying, the 1st hatched chicken will have a growth advantage over the second in a very high%, it is very difficult to observe a roadway nest where the two chickens come out ahead, unfortunately they are exceptional cases.
This year 2020, everything that happened in the nest has been extraordinary, the two chicks born Lasai and Lucky have survived.
Several key factors have come together for something like this to have happened. The early arrival of Princess and Lizard to the nest, the earliest laying for it, there were abundant prey, the true jays incordiant to the stability of the nests were calm, they did not disturb.
Another of the causes was the confinement that we had in Spain due to the coronavirus, the parks were free of people, for a time we left Nature to act freely
