Dogcipe No.008 Thanksgiving Feast
Here’s the Thanksgiving Feast for dogs! Set aside some potatoes, sweet potatoes, vegetables, cranberries before adding sugar, salt, or seasonings. You may use leftover turkey breast where there are not much fat or seasonings. Note the skin and the cooked bones are not safe for our furry friends!

Recommended Serving Size per day:
- Under 50lb: 3% of your pet’s ideal weight
- 50-100lb: 2% of your pet’s ideal weight
- Over 100lb: 1.5% of your pet’s ideal weight
Reduce the amount of food from the suggested amount above for the less active dog and older dog. Watch your dog’s weight while feeding the homemade meal and adjust as necessary.
CAUTION: Every dog is different. Make your best judgement on the amount and the ingredients depending on your own pet’s allergies and food intolerance level.
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb turkey chops (or leftover turkey breast without skin and seasoning)
3/4 lb veggie mix
3/4 lb sweet potatoes
3/4 lb potatoes
1/4 lb beef liver
1 tbsp parsley
2 cups cranberries
1 cup water
1 egg
32g peanut butter (100% peanut)
upplements of your choice
DIRECTION:
Cook turkey, beef liver, sweet potatoes, and potatoes, separately, in a boiling water.
Steamed Veggies: Steam veggies while cooking for the meats and potatoes.
After they are fully cooked, pull the turkey, mince the beef liver, and dice the sweet potatoes and potatoes.
Sweet Potatoes: Mix sweet potatoes with half amount of the parsley.
Mashed Potatoes: Mash the potatoes and put water if they are too dry. Mixed with minced beef liver and remaining parsley.
Cranberry Sauce: put cranberries with 1 cup of water into a pan at a medium heat. Stir until it gets thickened. Then cool it down.
Gravy: mix peanut butter with raw egg.
After cooled down, serve turkey with gravy, steamed veggies, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce.
For the leftover food, you can mix all together to feed easily at a later time.
Add any supplements as needed.
Place them in the refrigerator for up to 4 days and in the freezer for up to 3 weeks.
