Rainy Day Railfanning on the Main Line 3/30/14

Despite the wet weather, I decided to head out to the Main Line today. It had been a long time since I made a weekend visit to the Main or Bergen Line, and with altered weekend schedules in effect to accommodate for bridge work in Mahwah, I figured that this would be as good a time as any to make my return. Unfortunately, the combination of rain and wind made things very chilly, so I found myself moving from place to place before finally giving up and heading home.

1: Train 77 passes through Ramsey Route 17 with GP40PH-2B 4209 leading the way. Cab Car 6714 is at the end. Under normal circumstances, this train would make stops at both Ramsey stations. For these two weekends, however, it runs express from Secaucus to Suffern.
2: Train 78 rolls through the station with Cab Car 6710 on the point. Powering the set is F40PH-3C 4911.
3: Train 1724 arrives at the Main Street station in Ramsey. Leading the way is Cab Car 7048, and ALP-45DP 4528 is trailing.
4: PL42AC 4009 leads Train 1725, arriving 4 minutes ahead of schedule. Cab Car 7007 is trailing.
5: Train 1877 makes its stop at Ridgewood. Leading the way is PL42AC 4002, while bringing up the rear is Cab Car 6052.
6: GP40PH-2B 4204 is on the point of Train 1727. Cab Car 6061 is at the end.
7: Train 1726 enters Hawthorne during a downpour. Multilevel Cab Car 7007 is on the point, and PL42AC 4009 powers the set from the rear.
