If you want to add an exciting thing to do while visiting Kuantan, Pahang, do not miss the morning fisherman's market not far from the city centre.
This market is very lively. Lots of things going on...people running everywhere dragging small and big fish such as sharks and stingrays!

This is where the fishermen park their boats early morning to sell their catch of the day (or night) to sell to whole sellers and supermarkets.
It was very entertaining and exciting to watch. For us, it was one of the highlight and must do in Kuantan.
