PillBot™ Sensor Backpack Testbed
Here is PillBot™ Rev2 fitted with a temporary buoyancy backpack to help us begin to develop the advanced closed-loop control algorithms we will need for a clinical product. This was shot inside the same polycarbonate "tactiquarium" that James Erd produced for our weightless flight in the Cessna 310.
Buoyancy is one of many variables we continue to optimize as this project unfolds. This little trick is allowing us to decouple buoyancy from the critical path, allowing work to be done in an area we thought we were going to have to wait several months to begin on.
