There’s a house in Florida where history meets the paranormal and where its eerie elegance makes for a comfortable, yet creepy stay. That place is Phantom History House, where everyone is welcome to leave the chaos of their daily life outside our front door.

Your hosts, Steve Blanchard and Tim Hinton, have opened their unique home to all guests, but particularly those who are fond of the paranormal, the strange and the odd. Are you looking for a stay that is as comfortable as it is unique? Then you’ve found your final resting place – for your upcoming trip.

There’s no need to be scared, however.

Join us for chats about ghosts and paranormal experiences in the beautiful Victorian-style library or pull up a chair at breakfast alongside the magnificent potion wall, adorned with bottles representing the concoctions used for centuries to aid in healing, spell-casting and more.

Do you need some respite from the daily grind and just want to enjoy some peace and some deadly quiet? Lounge on our lanai that overlooks the nearby wooded area where deer and other wildlife sometimes make an appearance.

At night, retire to one of our four themed rooms, each of which captures its own unique environment complete with a queen bed and private bathroom, certainly suitable for Resting In Peace.

Our four rooms are the Ouija Room, Cemetery Room, Portrait Room, and Castle Room.

Florida is known for its theme parks and beaches and Phantom History House is within a 30-minute drive of both. The spectacular Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is just across town and the beautiful beaches of Dunedin are less than 10 miles from our front door. It’s a setting perfect for a uniquely paranormal-themed getaway in one of Florida’s most beautiful and active cities.

Your hosts are ready to chat and are passionate about sharing those stories and offering guests a safe space to talk about their experiences with the unexplainable.
