Finding WILD Orangutans in Sumatra // VLOG 002

We started our stay in Indonesia with a 3-day-long hike through the jungle near Bukit Lawang, Sumatra. The tour was called “jungle explorer“ and operated by EcoTravel (https://www.sumatra-ecotravel.com/packages/jungle-explorer-3-day-tour/). We’ve purposely picked this company since they make sure to leave no footprints in the jungle and have a general focus on fairness and sustainability on all levels.

Besides the amazing experience of seeing wild orangutans in their natural habitat and sleeping in a jungle for 2 nights, those 3 days made us realize one thing: We have to do everything we can to protect the jungle and all its beautiful inhabitants!
We personally stopped purchasing any products that contain palm oil and hope to inspire you to do the same after watching this video :)
