HowTo: Give New Life to Your Old Propane Tank With a New OPD

I don't really like to trow things away. However, when things go unused I start to feel like a hoarder. Ever since my mother's last husband, whom I was very close with, passed away, I have found it impossible to rid my family and myself of his overwhelmingly excessive worldly possessions.

Seriously, this man had amazing things. I strive to put all of them to use!

Although it may sound trivial; giving life to this propane tank that he purchased new 22 years ago (stamp date is 96), and using it to heat my home and cook my food... It somehow keeps me close to him. (yea I know fucking hippies whatever)

Further investigation has shown that if I had just taken the tank to the propane store they would have replaced the valve and certified the tank for only 35 bucks, which would have been five dollars less than doing it myself. So, the only upside of DIYing the valve was making this video.

Dealing with flammable/explosive gasses is stupid and dangerous. DO NOT attempt this at home. Save your life and your money by having a trained professional perform this operation for you. I assume no responsibility for you being as stubborn and stupid as I am.

Let's escape this disposable society and get back to the basics.
