The Rich vs. Poor Mindset - An Authentic Take on a Sensationalized Topic
Many of us have seen all the "Rich vs. Poor" videos on Youtube and some of us have maybe even read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad. But personally, I think the topic is over dramatized and too cut and dry. What's considered rich or poor anyway?
I wanted to provide a different perspective on a nuanced topic by enlisting the help of these two lovely ladies. I wanted to interview two different people with two different perspectives on money who could roughly represent each side of the coin. It's important to note that neither of these women are exorbitantly rich nor are they penniless. Instead I think each of them represents a more realistic contrast between two different financial situations and the perspectives therein. As neither of them are on either extreme end of the spectrum, I hope that we can find their perspectives much more relatable.
These women have worked very hard to achieve their accomplishments and overcome their respective trials in life and I couldn't be more proud of either of them. Let's show them some love!
The reason I chose to conduct these interviews was because the way you think about money - your money mindset - can very well determine your future when it comes to personal finance. With that being said, at the end of the day what is most important is that you realize what type of financial future is the one that will make you happy.
Topics in the conversation include outlook on money, spending versus saving, investing, morality of money and more!
I hope that we all come away from this conversation with a new perspective on money and some valuable insights!
