The movie began by revealing a place in Europe 20,000 years ago.
A group of hunters moved quietly towards a herd of steeped bison, at the shout of "Go" the hunters stood up and shouted, causing the bison to run towards them and simultaneously stampede off a cliff after the hunters made a line with their wooden weapon. Amidst the chaos, one of the angry bison turned, rushed towards Keda who was running away(who is later revealed as the chief's son), and tossed him over the cliff.
