Sky News host slams Waleed Aly for ‘sneering’ and ‘condescending’ Voice remarks

Sky News host Rita Panahi has slammed 'The Project' host Waleed Aly for his “sneering” and “condescending” remarks on the failure of the Voice to Parliament.

Mr Aly said on The Project the biggest "dividing line” for those voting in favour of the Voice seemed to be education.

“If you are in a seat that had higher levels of tertiary education … then you were at the very top of the Yes vote,” he said.

“If you had the lowest levels of tertiary education – you were at the low end of the yes vote.

“That’s not to say people who are educated know what they’re doing … it’s about the style of the message.”
