Never Happened Before! - Metal Detecting finds a RARE 1700’s Coin and a SILVER SPILL Beast!

There are some things that we find metal detecting almost every trip out. Early 1900's wheat cents, random buckles, oh and trash, lots and lots of trash. But there are other times when we find something so rare its almost magical and we all get pumped to continue searching all day long! This week was the second "sometimes" as we get onto a property that was once a colonial farm field but now has houses on it built from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. An area like this can give up almost anything since there's been activity on it for hundreds of years. Last year we did a different section of this complex and left with almost a dozen silver coins, 43 wheat cents, 2 large cents, antique toys, buttons, and much more. This return to another section we continue to tear it up with a lot more silver, cool relics, an even a few amazing bucket list coins including a huge silver first and a massive bucket list colonial coin! Man there is nothing better in this hobby than when the stars align like this!
