In this video, we're going to take a look at the SmartMi Smart Pedestal fan.

This "wireless" smart fan comes equipped with a battery and onboard Wi-Fi allowing you to remotely control it and even use it without a power cord (for a limited time, until the battery runs out...)

Because it has WiFi it will integrate flawlessly into the Mi Home Ecosystem. This means you can remotely control it from your smartphone or tablet, but also use it together with all the wireless switches and sensors that work with Mijia.

The fan has a very silent, yet very strong motor. At it's lowest settings the fan noise is almost not noticeable and even at higher levels, it's really quite silent.

It's housing and blade-design optimize the wind speed; for such a small fan it really produces noticeably strong wind.

Its battery will last you up to 16 hours on the lowest wind speed levels, and about 6 hours on level 3. After a few hours, you will receive a notice that the battery is running low and it might cut off the WiFi when it's running out of power to save some battery.
However, it's actually very convenient to be able to unplug the fan, pick it up, and use it on the balcony for a few hours.

I am very happy with this fan (Quite the fan here....) and I should have gotten this one a long time ago!
