CRISP Rolex Datejust ref 16014 from 1979 - Gorgeous white sunburst - all original - cal 3035

Hello and welcome! This is an insanely gorgeous stunner in fantastic all original condition! It's a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust ref 16014, powered by a quick-set date chronometer cal 3035 from 1979. Clearly this beauty has been babied, because it’s in very, very sharp condition.
The original white sunburst dial is super crisp, with very light patina. It pops so incredibly beautifully, truly mesmerising to look at! The lume dots have aged gorgeously, to a very nice rich pumpkin/mustard hue, which brings a touch of color into play, making this even more beautiful! The hands and their lume is original as well, fully intact, and in excellent condition.
The steel case with solid white gold fluted bezel is in excellent condition as well, super crisp. The original finishing is still intact, with very sharp edges. Both the crown and crystal are original. The crown screws down nicely.
The watch is a ref 16014, powered by a chronometer automatic cal 3035 with quick-set date and hacking function from 1979. Service history unknown, but it works perfectly and keeps great time.
It has nice wrist presence, measuring 36mm diameter without crown, and 44mm from lug to lug. It comes on its original steel Rolex jubilee bracelet, which is in excellent condition as well. The D clasp code dates it to 1979, which is correct for this watch. The bracelet has 20 links, it fits up to 7,5” wrists.
The watch and bracelet are in remarkable condition for their age; usually these are very worn, and the bracelet would be very stretched. This bracelet however is nice and tight, with only mild stretch. You really don’t find them this nice with the original bracelet in such sharp condition (usually bracelets have been replaced/aftermarket).
Overall a fantastic piece that has been very well taken care of, ready for the next owner. Amazing looks, and ditto condition.
