Hiking the Kearsarge Pass

May 2022, on our California road trip, we started at Onion Valley trailhead. Climbed to the pass at 11.7k elevation, down to the Kearsarge Lakes and explored before lunch, then back up and over the pass for a total of 14 miles! Met so many PCT hikers along the way and helped a few reach the town of Independence, a 13 mile trip from the trailhead.
