Tony Blair's first Prime Minister's Questions: 21 May 1997
Tony Blair led Labour to general election victory on 2 May 1997. Mr Blair's first Prime Minister's Questions (PMQs) took place on 21 May 1997. It was also the first time that PMQs was held in a new format, with the two 15-minute sessions held on a Tuesday and Thursday replaced by a single 30 minute session on a Wednesday.
