Destiny 2: Shields, Shield Perks and The Arbalest Situation

As Bungie pushes buildcrafting with a hyper focus on using all of the same element, the question of how shields should be handled in the game only gets more intense. Originally, this video was about why I disliked shield perks and what would need to happen to make them better, but then it morphed into a discussion about the state of shields. Shields are a mechanic from D1 that have had ONE change in 8 years and in this constantly evolving sandbox, they have not kept up, as evidenced by things like Arbalest and Adaptive Munitions.
