Hail Storm in Sebring, Florida

It started as loud, intermittent knocks on the roof and sides of house. Went out and saw golf ball sized hail falling from the sky, getting more intense, no rain, for about three minutes. Then the rain accompanied the barrage of rapid-fire hail. Luckily, my car is under the carport roof and the slant of the hail falling was from the east which is the other side of the house.
Last time I saw a hail storm like this in Central Florida was around 1999. I was driving and when the hail came down I quickly drove and parked under a motel entrance canopy alongside other panicked drivers.
