This could be one of the most dangerous accidents in a steel mill. Molten steel at nearly a thousand degrees shoots out from the production line, with some steel rods even flying up to the roof dozens of feets high. this is called a cobble or missrolls. the reason this happens when the rollers at a steel mill get jammed, allowing a knot of molten steel to build up until it flings a rope of hot steel into the air.
