GOODBYE TRANSALL - Transall C-160 & E-3A AWACS Approach at Geilenkirchen Airbase

Hi :)
Yesterday I filmed a very impressive and emotional scene at Geilenkirchen Airbase. By the end of this year the Transall C-160 gets retired at the German Air Force and replaced by the A400M and C-130. So on two days a "Goodbye-Tour" took place, where the pilots visited multiple airfields in Germany. I was at Geilenkirchen as they were scheduled to perform an approach here too. An AWACS was in holding as I arrived, later It got clear why - as the two Transall-aircraft approached they were accompanied by one of the old smoky AWACS, what was a very impressive scene.
