MLA-30 vs Wellbrook ALA1530 S+ active antenna comparison on Long Wave

Comparing both the MLA-30 vs Wellbrook ALA1530 S+ on the LW band with a signal from Denmark (DR Langbølge) on 243 kHz. Both active antennas are stock. I did create a custom holder for the MLA-30 so the stainless steel antenna supplied stays in a loop position, although I don't consider it a mod. Notice that the Wellbrook was bringing in more noise but had better reception of the station. The MLA-30 had lower noise but less reception. Even though the Wellbrook was on the floor & the MLA-30 on the window sill, the noisefloor on the Wellbrook would have been the same because the larger loop seems to amplify all nearby noise sources. Also no difference regarding reception of this station if I had swapped positions of the antennas.
Received in UK with an Elad FDM-S2 as the receiver.
