Turpin Meadow Wyo, horseback pack trip June 30th 2014

Turpin Meadow Wyo. is a busy trailhead for most of the season for folks doing day trail rides to packing in with horses and mules to recreate, ride, fish and hunt. Trailhead camping is available at the very well maintained Forest Service campground. There are corrals available on a first come first serve basis, picketing and high lining are allowed. Potable water for campers and water troughs for horses are on site. The Buffalo river is a 10 minute walk away.
There are several outfitters in the area for guided trail rides and pack trips.
Excellent trails and stunning scenery.
