This unlikely side played hosts Portugal twice, eventually defeating them in a dramatic final. What few remembers is the scorer and that game, and Greece's leading scorer for the tournament was then Werder Bremen and former Aris striker Angelos Charisteas. We sat down with Greece's unlikely hero to learn about his career, and the incredible weeks of Euro 2004.
