Tinke Wellness Monitor - Red Ferret Review

Our lives are definitely too stressful. For example over the course of a morning I will typically drink 12 cups of coffee, tend to demanding child, and get screamed at by my boss. Some people might call this *stress*, but I just call it *my life* which is why I want to *retire* and live on an *island* all by *myself* (and maybe with a soccer ball named Hank).

The Tinke allows me to monitor my overall wellness and determine how to best adjust my life so that I can improve my overall physical or mental health. Through the use of your thumb, the appropriate Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod), and the Tinke you can determine important characteristics about your health. By taking multiple measurements at various times of day you should gain an understanding of how to change your lifestyle so you can improve your health. I am a perfect example..... I am now down to just 10 cups of coffee (before 10am).

Notes-

-In the Vita Mode the Tinke monitors your heart rate, breathing rate, and blood oxygen.

- In the Zen Mode the Tinke monitors your breathing patterns to determine your overall *Zen* level.

- Readings can be shared with friends so that you can track progress across social media platforms. I guess this *social media* thing is supposed to be popular, however my money is on carrier pigeons making a comeback.

- The Tinke is not quite perfect. The application does have a tendency crash during the measurements (about 25% of the time). I am sure that this is something an update could help fix!

- As mentioned in the video, it is difficult to maintain a consistent thumb pressure on the Tinke, and this can cause wildly inaccurate results (at one point the Tinke register my heart rate as in the 45 beats per minute range). A little practice and trial-and-error helps to create muscle memory so that it is more consistent (kinda like my golf swing).

Final Verdict - The Tinke is not exactly perfect but it is an interesting new method for monitoring health in the 21st century. Personally, I prefer 18th century medicine, but apparently the *experts* are saying that being *bled* is not an appropriate cure for *scurvy*.

Now if only the Tinke can help me find a *cure* for using ** ** in my reviews!
