'Where is the equality?': Deaf athletes in funding black hole

Thousands of sportspeople will meet in Turkey for the international event for elite deaf and hard-of-hearing athletes, the Deaflympics.

But with the event just around the corner, deaf sports are reeling after a cut in federal funding.

And there are fears it could have an impact on well-being in Australia's deaf community.
