Goh V Shem AMN (吴蔚升; born Goh Wei Shem, 20 May 1989) is a Malaysian professional badminton player in the doubles event. He was partnered with Tan Wee Kiong after their outstanding performance at the 2014 Thomas Cup. Together, Goh and Tan won the gold medal for the men's doubles event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games as well as all their matches in the mixed team event, helping Malaysia retain the gold medal for the third consecutive time. They also won the bronze medal at the 2014 Asian Games and the silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, thus making them the second ever Malaysian men's doubles pair to win the silver medal at the Olympic Games 20 years after the feat was achieved by Cheah Soon Kit and Yap Kim Hock in 1996 Atlanta. Goh and Tan are also the third Malaysian men's doubles pair to hold the world number 1 ranking after Cheah and Yap followed by Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong ever since official rankings were kept in the 80s.[1]

Goh is known for his offensive play style and his signature jumping smash. He would stand ready at the back while his partner guards the front, jumping when the opportunity arrives and delivering steep smashes towards the opponent.

Tan Wee Kiong AMN (born 21 May 1989) is a Malaysian professional badminton player in the doubles event. He began partnership with his current partner, Goh V Shem at the 2014 Thomas Cup. Together, Tan and Goh won the gold medal in the men's doubles and the mixed team event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. They also won bronze at the 2014 Asian Games. In their Olympic debut at the 2016 Rio Olympics, they won the silver medal, becoming the first Malaysian pair to achieve such a feat since 1996. In November 2016, they reached a career-high ranking of world number 1, making them the third ever Malaysian men's doubles pair to do so.

Takeshi Kamura (嘉村健士, Kamura Takeshi, born 14 February 1990) is a Japanese badminton player. He affiliated with the Tonami team since 2012, and has been selected to join the national team in 2013. Kamura was part of the national team that won the 2014 Thomas Cup. He captured his first Superseries title at the 2016 Hong Kong Open, and reached a career high of world number 2 in the men's doubles partnered with Keigo Sonoda in March 2017.[1][2]

Kamura won the silver medal at the 2018 World Championships and a bronze in 2017. In the continental Asia, he helps the national team won the 2017 Asia Mixed Team Championships, also collected a silver and three bronze medals in the individual men's doubles event. He competed at the 2014 and 2018 Asian Games.[3]

Keigo Sonoda (園田 啓悟, Sonoda Keigo, born 20 February 1990) is a Japanese badminton player.[1] He affiliated with the YKK AP Yatsushiro, before joining the Tonami team in 2010. Sonoda was part of the national team that won the 2014 Thomas Cup. He captured his first Superseries title at the 2016 Hong Kong Open, and reached a career high of world number 2 in the men's doubles partnered with Takeshi Kamura in March 2017.[2][3]

Sonoda won the silver medal at the 2018 World Championships and a bronze in 2017. In the continental Asia, he helps the national team won the 2017 Asia Mixed Team Championships, also collected a silver and three bronze medals in the individual men's doubles event. He competed at the 2014 and 2018 Asian Games.[4]
