wow.., what a machine! I put a tooon of work into this one.. for anyone interested.. the whole talking head sequence was filmed in 8k.. I tried to edit on the M1 mac mini.. I ended up switching to a proxy work flow.. I could have done it with out it, but in the interest of keeping my hair.. I wnent to proxy!

I tried to export this in 8k prores 422 to give you a true 8k experience (240gb!) but the export failed every time.. so I gave up & exported 4k prores 422 (44gb files size)

& boy it still looks great!! Im interested to see what youtube compression does to the file! So make sure you watch this at the highest resolution.

In summary the A1 is a weapon of mass creation!

In my experience I thought the 8k was a bit noisier than 4k but in Geralds- video he notes its finer.. which is accurate & can apear less noisey in a weird way!! any way heres a link to his video!
