Fencing in our first section of pasture
We are finally fencing in our first section of pasture. We are installing sheep and goat field fencing. This should be a good multi species fence. Right now we will only have goats and chickens, but we plan to get beef cows in the future. We are using 7 foot T-posts spaced 8 feet apart. We are also using gripples to splice the fence and tighten it.

We live in southeastern Illinois on a 41 acres homestead. We just finished building our log cabin overlooking our pond. We are trying to grow our own food and raise livestock. Follow us on our journey living the rural life and developing our property and becoming more self sufficient.
