Information on African Love Birds

African lovebirds are real lovebirds. Green, yellow, blue and red with intense hues. Breeding nature in harmony with the environment. Peach Faced, Fisher and Masked are the ones that touch our hearts with the change of colors in various items. They breed well and are a good source of income.

Items

Lovebirds can be divided into three types: Peach Faced, Masked and Fisher. Peach face is characterized by red cheeks like a rose petal. Golden Cherry, American Pied and Fossil Blue are variants of Peach Face. Peaches have white circles around the eyes; and pale yellow on the lips. Masked Loubreds, on the other hand, have two lips, red and cream. The main identifying mark is the black covering of the face. The white circles around the eyes are mandatory. Red lips are subdivided into Black Masked, Blue Masked and Yellow Masked and cream lips are subdivided into Blue Masked, Move and White Masked. The main feature of masked parrots is that they have a black or blackish covering on the face. The lips may be red or cream in color.

The Fisher Lovebirds are Tanzanians. The head and lips are red and have white circles around the eyes. The usual pattern is orange-red on the chest. Yellowfisher and Lutinofisher are genetic variants. Lutino Fisher has red lips and black eyes while Yellow Fisher has yellow lips and red eyes.

Yellow Fisher African parrots can grow beans, peas, green peas and peanuts. Rice, millet and sunflower seeds should be thoroughly washed and dried. Diseases can be reduced by daily intake of kanavanak, aryaveppila and spinach leaves. Juvenile feed can be given in the form of hand feed when the baby starts living independently at one and a half months. At the age of one year, African parrots become fertile

Cages up to two and a half feet in size can be used for breeding. Identifying spouses is very important. In the colonial system, those who cling together, those who cling together, and those who climb into a pot together can be separated and tested again by changing spouses. The ones that are finally found to be the most compatible pairs should be mated.

High meat diet should be provided during the breeding season. The female can be nested first in separate pairs. After one day, the male can be introduced to the breeding cage in the early morning. They nest themselves in pots prepared for breeding cages by putting in small fibers and straw. Lays 3–4 eggs in a nest. Expect four habits a year. The females are closed. The eggs hatch in 21–23 days. Babies who are fed by both of them start opening their eyes on the tenth day. In 40–42 days, babies will be out of the pot and see the world. Gradually the pot should be replaced with new ones for the parrot to move on to the next habit.
