This freestanding dishwasher is an affordable choice for your kitchen, offering reliable performance and straightforward controls. If you’d like to make the leap from washing by hand to using a dishwasher, this could be a great model to get you started.

We’re looking at a model with a stainless steel finish today, which looks great in the kitchen when matched up with other stainless steel appliances. A model is also available with a classic white finish.

Looking at the control panel that runs across the top, the dial on the far right is used to cycle between the seven available wash programs, which include a Quick 30 minute cycle, as well as settings for cleaning glassware, or heavily soiled pots and pans.

On the left hand side of the panel, we have the digital display that shows the time remaining on your wash. This lets you count down until your dishes are done, so you can stay organised in the kitchen.

As well as the on and off switch, there are also buttons here for a half-load wash that helps save more power and water, and a Delay button for washing at a more convenient time, such as during an off-peak energy period.

Opening up the door, a dispenser for detergent and rinse aid can be found on the inside. The dishwasher’s interior is fairly straightforward – an upper basket, a lower basket, and a removable cutlery basket. The upper basket is height-adjustable to better fit dishes of different sizes. You can also set up special racking for safely holding long-stemmed wine glasses in place, or for placing your large sharp knives out of harm’s way.

A spray arm can be found underneath each rack, and at the very base of the dishwasher is the filter, which you should be kept clean so your dishwasher can keep providing the best possible performance.

Because this is a freestanding dishwasher, it can be set up anywhere in your kitchen with access to power and water. Remember that if you plan to set up your dishwasher n a kitchen bench cavity to double-check all of the measurements to ensure it will fit, leaving some extra room available at the rear for the power and water connections.
