Hunkemöller Fashion Show 2020

On March 10th it was time for our big Fashion Show! We loved every minute of the show. The show was different from last year as it was the first show that featured items from new design director Andrew Lane who has taken the brand on a new journey.

Working as a ‘design first’ company we went back to the essence and designed a collection that celebrates femininity in all shapes and sizes.The materials used range from laces, guipures, embroideries, motifs, satin, chiffon, tulle, grosgrain ribbons and lots of stones.

“Lingerie is a very personal and empowering thing for women, I did not want any gimmicks or charades during the show, just a display of lingerie in its purest form,” says Andrew Lane.

As for the runway show, major inspiration came from Beyonce’s girl gang and message of unity in her ‘Spirit’ video. The show was divided into three values: Harmony, Bravery and Unity, each of them representing different messages within inclusivity and sisterhood. Loiza Lamers, Manny Willie, Lidia Santos and Fine Bauer and all the other gorgeous models united together to stride for Hunkemoller’s brand vision: designing lingerie for every woman, no matter what shape or size, with the best fit.
