Renovate with me in Italy! Here's the latest update on our Italian lake house renovation

Teaching has kept us busy lately, but we’ve made some exciting progress—our internal pizza oven is taking shape! My partner, who’s built outdoor ovens before, has always dreamed of a wood-fired oven in our kitchen. It’ll be installed at chest height, recessed into the wall, with a chimney pipe connecting to our main chimney.

In other news, the downstairs concrete floor has been poured—just a base for now, but it's great to see the house coming together. We’re also working on a temporary housing plan for when our lease ends in June.
