Gravity Powered Generator and Battery - Model by Surendra Kushwaha Govt. Polytechnic Mahoba mech.

This model is a demonstration of using gravitational potential energy for the production of electrical energy and as a power storage for sudden electric load demand .

Problem Solving-
A very cheap gravity battery for limited household usage in day to day life.

As power plants have fix capacity to generate power , but load is fluctuating.
hence :- at the time of low Load there is a excess of energy and at time of high load there is shortage of energy.
To overcome this problem water is used for storing power in power generation plants by uplifting water in certain height , and use it to run more turbines at a time by flowing down in sudden high electric load demand .

But the problem is in the above method is use of trimindous amount of water and a very good natural water storage dam at very high altitude. Which is very difficult to find in drought areas.

So , this model overcame both the problems.
By using mass motion up and down .
The desired power output is obtained by controlling the downward velocity of the mass .
