This new PSA aims to educate viewers on their prediabetes risk. Prediabetes is a serious health condition that affects more than 2 in 5 American adults and can lead to type 2 diabetes. Of those with prediabetes, 80% don’t know they have it. To help those with prediabetes know where they stand and prevent or delay type 2 diabetes, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has partnered with the Ad Council for a national PSA campaign about prediabetes. The PSAs encourage viewers to learn more at DoIHavePrediabetes.org, take action to change their outcome, and reserve prediabetes.
