We did not expect this in Chiang Rai [Thailand 2021]

Our day in Chiang Rai was totally unexpected! We ventured around 1 hour away from the centre of the city and discovered some amazing and also some creepy spots! The black house (Baan Dam) was intriguing! And is commonly known as a ‘must-do’ when visiting Chiang Rai, it is often crawling with tourists but of course this time we were the only ones there!

Next up was a stunning cafe in the middle of nowhere - which made us like it even more, we had some refreshing drinks whilst overlooking the incredible mountain and rice paddies.

Last but not least we fell in love with the gorgeous tea plantations which Chiang Rai is very well known for. Our lunch spot was the perfect place to end off a fun day of exploring!
