Looking for virtual YouTube treadmill walking scenery? Why not follow me on a virtual walk from Ambleside to Grasmere. We followed the road and trails that run pretty much parallel with The River Rothay. Walking past Rydal Water on the way. If you have the time then a trip up Loughrigg is well worth it. If it's a clear day you will be rewarded with some lovely views of the area and Lake Windermere too. Stunning scenery! William Wordsworth lived in the Hamlet of Townend, which is just outside of Grasmere. We enjoyed visiting The Grasmere Ginger Bread Shop. The ginger bread was delicious! We bought ginger fudge and ginger ice cream to fuel our walk back to Ambleside.
