# Etihad Offers Free Medical Cover for Visitors to Abu Dhabi:

Etihad Airways has launched free medical travel insurance for international visitors arriving in or transiting through Abu Dhabi.

This initiative aims to make travel easier and safer for travellers.

The insurance will be available from July to December 2026 and is being offered in partnership with The National Insurance Company – Daman.

Under this insurance, eligible travellers will automatically receive medical coverage for up to 15 days in the UAE without needing to apply separately.

For insurance eligibility, both the international traveller's point of origin and the ticket's point of sale must be outside the UAE.

According to officials, this initiative is designed to reduce travel concerns and encourage more visitors to visit Abu Dhabi.

एतिहाद एयरवेज़ ने अबू धाबी आने वाले या वहाँ से गुज़रने वाले इंटरनेशनल विज़िटर्स के लिए फ़्री मेडिकल ट्रैवल इंश्योरेंस शुरू किया है।

इस पहल का मकसद यात्रियों के लिए यात्रा को ज़्यादा आसान और सुरक्षित बनाना है।

यह इंश्योरेंस जुलाई से दिसंबर 2026 तक उपलब्ध होगा और इसे द नेशनल इंश्योरेंस कंपनी – दमन के साथ पार्टनरशिप में ऑफ़र किया जा रहा है।

इस इंश्योरेंस के तहत एलिजिबल यात्रियों को UAE में 15 दिनों तक के लिए ऑटोमैटिकली मेडिकल कवरेज मिलेगा, इसके लिए अलग से अप्लाई करने की ज़रूरत नहीं है।

इंश्योरेंस एलिजिबिलिटी के लिए इंटरनेशनल यात्री का पॉइंट ऑफ़ ओरिजिन और टिकट का पॉइंट ऑफ़ सेल दोनों UAE के बाहर होना चाहिए।

अधिकारियों के अनुसार, यह पहल यात्रा की चिंताओं को कम करने और ज़्यादा विज़िटर्स को अबू धाबी घूमने के लिए बढ़ावा देने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है।
