What a nice surprise after a long, tough weekend of fishing. I rigged up the new 7'2 Medium Googan Squad and Catchco Gold series rod (Reaction) and took it out fishing for the first time. I go over things I liked about the rod, things I didn't like, and was able to run into a couple fish. I'll obviously need to do some more fishing with it to give a full review, but that'll be for the future.
