BMW E92 Coupe Windshield Trim Replacement Seal: 3 Series Tech Tips

How to replace the windshield trim seal on the E92 coupes including 320d 323i 320i 330i 325i 335i 328i and M3 models. This is only relevant for the coupe models. The sedans do use a different seal design.

The moulds are generally quite cheap genuine through BMW under $100AUD and even under $50USD in the states.
